Death Note - A Brightly Shining World

"Itsuka, boku ga misete ageru, hikari kagayaku sekai wo"

I'll make it clear, I agree with Light. Well, Ryuk was a bit of a nuisance but I'll also have him drawn for good measure. But anyway, oh boy was Death Note interestingly beautiful. No wonder it was (or is) top rated.

Considering the grittiness of the story, I decided to try a rougher style of shading than I am used to. Also, only a fool would waste lead and muscle to darken an entire empty area that is Ryuk's body. So here it is, Ryuk and Light in all their glory. Perhaps a bit skewed, but meh, I am satisfied enough with the shading. Only used my 2H, HB, and 2B, and was quite fast to finish, actually. And in making it quick, I decided to just photograph it at the end, instead of scanning.
